Blue Mountain Education has developed some of the most comprehensive and flexible online diversionary programs in the country. Course offerings include: vaping/tobacco, alcohol, drugs, marijuana, minor in-possession, shoplifting and impulse control.
Evidence-Based Classes Developed by Professionals
All of our courses have been written and developed by a team of professionals and are geared toward students of all ages, including middle school, high school and college. The classes are written to provide students with maximum education through interactive exercises and multi-media presentations. All students receive a certificate of completion after successfully completing the course, including passing the final exam with a score of 70% or better.
We have been certified as evidence-based by North Dakota Department of Human Services-Behavioral Health Division (BHD).
Flexible and Convenient for Students
Our classes are available 24 hours per day 7 days per week. The classes are completely self-paced; students can start and stop wherever they want. Whatever page they leave off on, they pick right back up with when logging back in.
The classes are sized to be taken from any Internet-ready device: a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or mobile phone.
Flexible and Convenient for Schools
With more than a decade of experience, we can tailor our classes to suit your needs and convenience. The classes can be paid for by the school district, or the students. If the students will be paying for the classes we can provide a special link for each of them to use when enrolling.
If the school district is paying there are a couple of options.
- The school can purchase a block of classes. We will notify the school when the block of classes has been exhausted.
- We can bill the school monthly or quarterly for classes taken by their students.
Some schools use our courses for Saturday detention; others have the students take the class on their own time. Please note that we also offer financial aid to anyone in need.
Administrative Access to Progress
Blue Mountain Education can provide each school with a client portal where they can view the status of each student. They can see the name of the student, the date the student enrolled, the percentage of the class completed. After the student completes the class we show the completion date and a copy of the completion certificate is available for download.
